I am the Maureen Lyles D’Ambrogio Professor of Medicine (Hematology) at Stanford University School of Medicine and Vice Chair for Basic Research in the Department of Medicine. My research focuses on the modeling of cancer and immunotherapy in 3D organoid cultures, biology of quiescent and proliferating intestinal stem cell populations, and molecular regulation of angiogenesis and the blood-brain barrier. I am an elected member of the Association of American Physicians, American Society for Clinical Investigation and AAAS.
