Nine Ludwig scientists were named to Thomson Reuters’ 2015 listing of “The World’s Most Influential Scientific Minds,” a report featuring researchers around the world who have made the most significant global impact within their respective fields.
The annual listing represents an analysis of approximately 9 million researchers based on their output of highly-cited papers. The more than 3,000 scientists included are recognized as those most often cited by fellow scientists in their respective fields over an 11-year period. As the report ranks researchers on citations made by their colleagues, being named to the list signifies distinction in the eyes of fellow researchers.
