April 17, 2023, NEW YORK – Ludwig Cancer Research released today the full scope of research to be presented by Ludwig-affiliated scientists at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting 2023, which will be held online and in person in Orlando, Florida, from April 14 to April 19.
“At this year’s AACR Annual Meeting, Ludwig researchers are presenting discoveries that are not only fascinating from a scientific perspective, but also valuable to the development of new cancer diagnostics and therapeutic strategies,” said Chi Van Dang, scientific director of the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research and editor-in-chief of AACR journal Cancer Research. “Those of us attending this year are excited to once again meet colleagues from around the world and engage in the lively discussion and debate that enriches our professional lives and fuels scientific advancement.”
Several Ludwig researchers will share their expertise and present their discoveries in talks and poster sessions at the conference. Their presentations will cover a wide range of subjects, including tumor immunology and immunotherapy, cancer metabolism, drug resistance, “liquid biopsies” for the diagnosis and management of cancer, the tumor microenvironment and its manipulation for therapy and a good deal more.
In addition, Ludwig Cancer Research is proud to support, through the AACR Scholar-in-Training Awards program, six young scientists presenting their research at the conference this year.
