August 18, 2023 – Ludwig Cancer Research congratulates Ludwig Oxford’s Richard White on his receipt of the 2023 Outstanding Research award by the Society for Melanoma Research. The award is presented to individuals or groups who have made discoveries that have had a high impact in the field of melanoma research within the last 5 years.
Richard and his team have made fundamental discoveries about how neural crest programs in melanoma cells affect responses to oncogenes and how other cells in the microenvironment of tumors can promote metastasis. We are delighted that his achievements have been recognized by this award.
